Radiohead at the Woodlands

Ashley and I took a trip to Houston for the weekend to see Radiohead perform at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. We did a similar trip as a large group about 5 years ago when they were on their Hail to the Thief tour. It was a great show and was very mellow as expected, although they had a fancy light show this time. They performed In Rainbows in its entirety, along with old favorites from OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, etc. The only disappointment was the small number of songs performed from OK Computer. No Paranoid Android, Airbag, or Karma Police? The highlights for me were the “classics” in the encore: You and Whose Army, Street Spirit, Planet Telex, and Idioteque.

After the show we hung out at some bar called Molly’s that was conveniently located in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel we stayed at. Only the best for us. Ashley took a couple of photos of me at the pub:
