Work Experience
Sephira Software, LLC
Partner (2005 - Present)

Built a web development business from the ground up and grew it from a name and an idea to over $100,000 in revenue by 2008. It has been profitable from day one, requiring no outside loans or investment. Just a laptop and a coffee shop.

I am involved in all aspects of the business. I find new clients, lead client meetings, gather requirements, write proposals, provide estimates, write code using many programming languages and frameworks, create graphics in Photoshop, design databases, do invoicing and accounting, answer all emails, and maintain a web server for hosting client sites.

Enterprise Information Services
Systems Analyst (2004 - 2007)

As a member of the Agile Contracts Team, I created custom web and mainframe applications
for departments at the University of Texas at Austin. I met with clients, learned about
their business processes, and developed software solutions that streamlined or automated
these processes. I developed these applications using a variety of tools, including
PHP, Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, Natural, MySQL, Adabas, and Oracle.

Taught a series of classes on JavaScript programming to University of Texas developers. Wrote
training materials to teach mainframe developers how to program in PHP. Trained new hires
on mainframe programming.

Learning Technology Center
Web Developer (2003 - 2004)

Wrote a plethora of administrative applications using ColdFusion and MySQL. Worked with a
team of student developers to create a web-based staff timeclock, scheduling system,
equipment reservation system, staff intranet, and a tool for visualizing and charting
Labman data.
